Meet Duke, Duke is a 19 month old German Shepherd. Duke was hand selected and tested by Mike Diehl, owner of Diehl’s Police K9 Training Center in Greenwood Indiana. We have selected Duke to be the next Knightstown Police Department K-9 Officer. Duke is currently spending time with Officer Daniel Montgomery to start the bonding process and ensure they are a good fit for each other prior to the purchase and starting of training. Daniel and Duke have bonded very quickly and everything is looking great for a mid November - early December start to their training together. The community, local businesses and organizations raised $26,363.07 to make this possible.
