The Warsaw Citizen's Police Academy recently honored Thania Colgrove for her 10 years of service as Alumni President. During her tenure, Thania was responsible for organizing donations for the materials to upgrade the WPD K9 training facility and for the purchase of a protective vest for one of the department's dogs. After 26 years of service with the City of Warsaw Police Department, Officer Brian T. Hupp is retiring effective August 31, 2018. Hupp began his career with Warsaw Police Department on November 16, 1991, after serving two years as a patrol officer for the Town of Winona Lake. He is a 1990 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. During his time with Warsaw Police Department, Hupp served on the department's Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Aquatic Unit. Additionally, he served as a Field Training Officer (FTO), training several new patrol officers throughout his career. Hupp will continue his law enforcement career as he has accepted a position with Parkview Health Police Department.

UPDATE : Andy has been located and is in good health. The Warsaw Police Department is currently looking for a male juvenile that was last seen around midnight. Andy Campos, 15, was last seen at his residence on Old Colony Rd. in Forrest Park. Andy is autistic, non verbal and may become aggressive if approached. Andy was last seen wearing only a pull-up diaper. If you locate Andy, keep him in sight and call 911.

**RAIL PROJECT UPDATE - POPE STREET TO ARTHUR STREET - DOWNTOWN WARSAW - FOR 6/26/18** Norfolk Southern expects their rail gang to install new rail from Pope Street through Arthur Street on Tuesday, June 26. Crossings will be closed for six or more hours, and all of these downtown crossings may be closed at one time. An exact closure time is unknown and will depend on train traffic. Hickory Street will be closed to traffic for approximately 2 weeks. Some crossings along Hickory Street may also be closed for an additional length of time, including Market, Main, and Center. Crossings will be opened, as feasible, but may initially just be temporarily patched. Motorists are strongly encouraged to be patient, plan extra travel time, and use US 30 to cross town.
