The individuals shown were involved in a theft of a wallet from the Speedway Firehouse Subs. The couple left the restaurant in a black Chevy HHR. If you have information please contact Detective Joe Harmon at (317) 246-4300 or the SPD anonymous tip line at (317) 246-5300.

The water main on High School Road is repaired and pressure is back to normal

Speedway Water Department has a main break on High School Road. Pressure will be reduced on High School Road from Hickorywood to 30th Street. Crew is on-site making the repairs

On October 26th, 2018, Speedway Police Department responded to 109 Gasoline Alley on a report of a hit and run crash. The caller saw a white Dodge Ram Pickup with Indiana plates traveling southbound on Gasoline Alley. The truck lost control, left the road, and struck the fence at the south side of a business property. The caller stated that two other men in a red Dodge Dakota pickup assisted the driver of the Ram. Both vehicles then fled the scene. The driver of the Ram is approximately a 25 year old white male with glasses and stood approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. The two men in the Dakota were white males and one was wearing a green shirt. Anyone having information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Lieutenant Jim Thiele of the Speedway Police Department at (317) 246-4316 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS.

There are ane restrictions on 25th Street and Lynhurst Drive due to a sink hole in the east bound lane of 25th Street. The Street Department will be excavating the site this morning.

On October 25th, an unknown black male was involved in an incident at the Kroger at 5718 Crawfordsville Rd. Anyone who recognizes or has any information concerning this man or a person that may wear similar clothing is asked to contact Lieutenant Jim Thiele at (317) 246-4316.
