Mayor Mike Pavey would like to announce the 6th Annual Mayor’s 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. This event is an annual Run/Walk benefiting charitable organizations of the Mayor’s choice. The recipient of the proceeds from the 2018 Run/Walk will be the Carol Jenkins-Davis Park, formerly known as Community Park, located on Ft. Wayne Road. Community Park was renamed Carol Jenkins-Davis Park last year to honor Carol’s life and legacy and to breathe new life into this underutilized City Park. Plans are to develop this space into a “non-traditional” green space that will include trails, mounding, landscaping and dog park. The goal is to have a park that will be unique, reflective and educational. We hope you will come join us for what is sure to be a fun-filled race day. Registration and Sponsorship information for this event is available at the City of Rushville website at under "NEWS UPDATES!"
