“The Geary County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous reports of a scam where the caller claims to be an agent of the Internal Revenue Service. The caller will advise the potential victim they are being investigated for fraud and tax evasion and will demand a payment to avoid an arrest warrant being issued. Most reports define the caller to be a male with a middle-Eastern with an accent or a computer automated voice. This is a scam that is annually repeated, usually by foreign criminals. The IRS will never contact anyone by phone in this manner. If anyone receives a call of this nature, please hang-up and do not give them any money.”

Stopped at the Cove today for lunch and this is what we received for a bill. Just want to say thank-you, appreciate you, and we will pay it forward
