It's game day! Let's go Cats beat KU! Bill Snyder Family Stadium parking lot gates open at 6:00 am and Bill Snyder Family Stadium gates open at 9:00 am. Please dress warm for the game today it is going to be cold all day long!

November 5 2018 was Officer Trevor Bourdreaux first day on the job at the Kansas State University Police Department. Officer Bourdreaux was sworn in by Chief Girce. Welcome aboard Officer Bourdreaux.

October 8 2018 was Officer Samantha Tyra's first day on the job at the K-State Police Department. Officer Tyra was sworn in by Chief Grice. Officer Tyra welcome aboard!

MANHATTAN — The Kansas State University Police Department has concluded its investigation into a note using a racial slur posted on a door in the Jardine Apartment Complex. On Monday, Nov. 5, K-State Police received a report of the note. Upon questioning, the person who reported the incident admitted to creating and posting the note to their own door. The matter will be addressed in accordance with applicable disciplinary procedures.

It’s that time of year again! Come join the Kansas State University Police Department, as we partner with Texas Roadhouse and the United States Marine Corp, in our 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Please bring all your new and unwrapped toys to the K-State Police Department located at 1810 Kerr Drive Edwards Hall , Manhattan, KS from 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM and to Texas Roadhouse, located on 200 Manhattan Town Center, Manhattan, KS during business hours. Toys for Tots donation boxes will be located in the west lobby area in Edwards Hall and in the hostess stand area of Texas Roadhouse. Also, join us November 13th 2018, from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM, for our “Toys for Tots Dine to Donate Night”, where 10 % of the proceeds will go towards the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Throughout the month of November, customers who donate toys at the Texas Roadhouse drop site, will receive a free appetizer from Texas Roadhouse.

Yesterday at the K-State Safety Fair, Officer Parker taught a Stop The Bleed Training class. Here are a few pictures from the training.

The K-State Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the individual in this picture. This is in reference to a theft from the Chester R Peters Recreation Center. Officers are breaking down the exiting traffic points and the normal traffic pattern is going back in effect around Bill Snyder Family Stadium. We hope to see everybody back Nov 10 for the K-State vs KU football game.

The parking lots at and around Bill Snyder Family Stadium open at 0600 am this morning. Please remember to be patient today because some of the satellite parking areas may not be used today due to the rain this week. Be prepared to find other parking for today's game.

The Manhattan Fire Department and Riley County Ems are also at Ahearn Field House showing off trucks and handing out stickers and hats to the kids.
