K9 Koda wants to know if everyone is ready for another year of voting in the 2018 Aftermath K9 Grant Contest? The Rooks County Sheriff’s Office is registered in the contest again. Last year Rooks County Sheriff’s Office placed in the Top 8 and earned $500 for K9 Koda. That’s thanks to everyone who voted for us! Last years money was put towards new vehicle equipment to make K9 Koda more comfortable and safe. With a limited K9 budget, all available grants/money help keep the K9 program available to the citizens of Rooks County and area law enforcement. Starting October 16th, 2018, the voting starts again. You will be able to vote once every 12 hours. We will post more information about the contest daily for the entire month. The goal is to take 1st place and win the $5,000 grant. Last year we were only a few hundred votes from taking first place. Please help spread the word and share to inform people about the voting contest! Without all of your support, we wouldn’t have been able to win the money we did last year! Let the fun begin!
