The Topeka licensing office at 29th and Topeka Blvd is pretty quiet right now if you need to stop by. Here's the documents you need if you want to get a Real ID. ksrevenue.org/realID

Most driver's license offices statewide are open today which is the start of the new schedule. If you want a Real ID, make sure you have all the documents you need using the checklist. https://www.ksrevenue.org/dovrealid.html If you're between 21 and 50 with a vision exam by an eye doctor in the last 12 months, you're eligible to skip the office and use the iKan app to renew. ikan.ks.gov

Offices in Topeka, Overland Park, Mission, Olathe, Wichita, Derby, and Andover are open today 7:30 a.m. to 11:15.

New hours for most driver's license offices start this Monday. Under the previous schedule, offices statewide were closed Mondays Topeka, Overland Park, Mission, Olathe, Wichita, Derby, and Andover will be open this Saturday October 27th 7:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Kansas City area residents now have a third driver's license office in Overland Park, complete with a spacious waiting area that features phone charging stations. The new office is located at 7600 W 119th Street on the west side of the KDOR Tax Services office. Secretary Williams and Division of Vehicles leadership held a ribbon cutting this morning to mark the overhaul of the delivery of driver's license services, which includes updated offices like this one, plus the option to renew online at ikan.ks.gov, and new 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours beginning October 29th.

The Overland Park Rosana Square office currently can't accept credit/debit cards so it's cash and check only. Working to get that issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Secretary Sam Williams renewed his driver's license today under the new Kanlicense software system used by examiners, which will speed processing time in the offices. For people who want to skip the office and don't want a Real ID, tomorrow is the launch of mobile renewals using the iKan app (https://ikan.ks.gov/).

New driver's license offices will be opening across the state in the coming months. The first new office opened today in Seneca. This new spacious, safe, and modernized facility came through the agency's collaboration with Nemaha County Commissioners and others. Secretary Sam WIlliams, pictured, talked about the importance of Kansas drivers receiving a standardized, courteous experience when visiting the office, regardless of where it is Kansas.
