If you have information on the suspect or suspects or the whereabouts of the stolen bikes, please send us a private message or call our office at 502-543-2514 for the Criminal Investigation Division.

We received numerous calls today about Halloween and trick or treating. Our agency does not dictate what day it occurs. That is up to individual local governments if they choose to change it. #StayDry #CostumeIdeas #BeADeputy #NOTaFirefighter

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our agency, thru the tireless work of Deputy Jerry Nugent, adopted the Maryland Lethality Assessment Program. This takes domestic violence response to a higher level than most agencies. It includes assessments of domestic risk, coordination with the Center for Women and Families, shelters and follow up phone calls to help ensure safety of all victims of domestic violence. This is our only policy that is named in memory of someone. Kimberly Nugent, Jerry’s daughter, tragically lost her life 11 years ago tomorrow due to domestic violence. For years Deputy Nugent has volunteered his time to help ensure another family does not have to go thru the tragedy the Nugent family and friends endured. If you or a family member are a victim of domestic violence, please get help. For more information, you can visit https://ncadv.org/take-action #RememberingKimberlyNugent #HelpStopDomesticViolence
