Yesterday morning at approximately 5am I got called out to a home invasion on 1626 along with one of my deputies and Contable Bill Dailey. When we got there, the perpetrator had already fled the scene and had assaulted and pulled a knife on the home owner. We searched the area for about 3 and 1/2 hours but could not locate him. We left and got a tip that a subject matching his description lived just a few house down. We located him and with the evidence that we had against him was able to apprehend him and lodge him in the county jail on charges of Burglary and Assault. Appreciate the help from the people on 1626 and from Constable Bill Dailey.
