Clark County Sheriff's Office News

Of the many awards over my long career this is the most special to me. Honored to receive the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Boy Scouts of America and Clark County !

Congratulations to Deputy Ernie Evans for receiving the award for leading the Clark County Sheriff’s Office for the most seatbelt violations for 2018.

Another bitter sweet day. After 20 years of continuous service to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Captain Paul Howard is retiring. He is the first Deputy with 20 years of continuous service to our office to retire from here. A GREAT accomplishment. He has worked for 3 Sheriffs in this time and been the consummate Professional. I have the utmost respect for Paul professionally and personally. No one realizes how much we will miss at our office, yet. Big shoes to fill ! Congratulations Captain !!!

Special thanks to the 314 citizens who attended this very important training. I would also like to thank Clark County Attorney Brian Thomas for Co-sponsoring this event and last but not least thanks to Steve Morris for doing all the heavy lifting and putting this together
