I want to extend a personal “thank you” to everyone who came out today to participate in our annual charity golf scramble. This event would not be successful without the contributions, donations and support of the many corporations, businesses, and, of the course, the golfers. Thank you for making our mission of serving Floyd County’s elderly and youth your mission too. We enjoyed beautiful weather, good food and great fellowship. The shoot-out to break the three way tie for 3rd place was an exciting note to end the day on. The monies raised will be utilized to further our support and development of the annual Nursing Home Angels Christmas Celebration; the Floyd County School Shoe Program and the The Sheriff’s Dept Youth CSI Summer Camp. I would be remiss if I didn’t say “thank you” to the many volunteers who have worked for the past several weeks to make today a success: Kelly Allen Betty Branham Mike Campbell Kay Hale Jessica Hall Rebecca Hunt Phillip Hunt Bob Johnson Julia Johnson Brandon Kinzer Mickey McKinney Lesa Reynolds
