09-18-18 - 4:40 pm - TRAFFIC INFO - There will be a parade today at 5:00 pm on Taft HWY between Fashion Ridge RD and Warsaw RD. Expect delays. Consider an alternate route if practical.

The person in the photos in this album allegedly stole two gliders (swinging porch chairs) from Wal Mart. If you have any information on who this person is, please contact Chief Rick Kells at 859-428-1212. Also in this album is the truck he was driving. It is possibly a Nissan Frontier.

On 03-13-2018, the two males pictured entered the Verizon Store in Dry Ridge. They immediately went to the display counter where they began tearing the display phones from the wires they were mounted to. The store owner confronted them and they continued until they had possession of four phones. The two subjects then fled the area on foot. On 03-11-2018, four females entered the Boost Mobile Store in Dry Ridge. After speaking with the clerk about four different models of cell phones, they stole the four phones from the counter, ran out of the store, got into a black four door sedan, and fled the scene. The female wearing the blue Kentucky shirt in these pictures allegedly shoplifted multiple bottles of liquor from a local business. She was a passenger in the (what appears to be teal) Ford truck. If you have any information on who she is, please contact Officer David Osborne at 859-428-1212.

02-14-2018 - 05:17 PM - UPDATE The State Highway Department had completed the work described below for today. Traffic should resume to normal shortly. 02-14-2018 - 03:45 PM - Traffic Conditions Slow Traffic on I-75 SOUTHBOUND between Crittenden and Dry Ridge. The state highway department is preparing to repair large pot holes on I-75 between Crittenden and Dry Ridge on the southbound side. When they begin, law enforcement will assist with a rolling road block, starting from Crittenden. Expect slow traffic.

The person and vehicle pictured in this album was allegedly involved in a hit and run collision at the Dry Ridge Waffle House. The male pictured backed the red Dodge pictured into a Chevrolet Silverado, which was parked and unattended, and then fled the scene. UPDATE - 2017-11-18 - 6:48 PM - Law Enforcement has cleared from the scene and traffic should resume to normal. TRAFFIC ALERT - 2017-11-18 - 5:05 PM - There is a multi-car collision on I-75 northbound around the 165 mile-marker. Expect delays. You may want to use an alternate route, such as US 25.

The male subject pictured in this album was at Piddle Park, ran across the park and into the back yard of a residence on Gilbert Ave, where he vandalized a car. The female pictured was at the park with the male subject, however she remained at a picnic table during the vandalism. It appears she did not take part in it. They were in the 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser pictured. The plate number is Michigan DPF4156. (While we do have the registration information, it is a Michigan address and may not be the people pictured. If they have recently moved here, we will need their new contact information.) The person in these pictures allegedly stole over $800 worth of merchandise. Allegedly, when confronted by loss prevention, he left the cart full of merchandise, ran to his truck and sped off. The person is a white male with light gray hair and goatee. Although not pictured here, one camera picked up a tattoo on the right of his neck. The hat he is wearing is a Coors Light hat. The truck he is in appears to be a Black Chevrolet/GMC S-10/S-15 (or Colorado). If anyone has any information on who this person is, please call Officer David Osborne at 859-428-1212.

Update: The parade is past Taft HWY and headed out Warsaw RD. It will be over soon. Expect heavy traffic conditions until it all clears. Traffic should be back to normal by 5:45 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be a parade in Dry Ridge on Taft Highway between Fashion Ridge Rd and Warsaw Rd today at 5:PM. Expect heavy traffic congestion and delays.

UPDATE: This person has been identified. Thank you for your assistance. An unknown female driving the red Chevrolet truck in these photos dumped several cats at Piddle Park. If anyone knows the identity of the owner of this truck, please contact Chief Rick Kells or Ofc David Osborne at 859-428-1212.

The serial number on the bill is LB14967401G. All of the bills passed had the same serial number. The bill will pass a marker test. However, the bill is missing water mark and raised texture features, as well as the security strip that is inserted in the bill.

07-29-2017 - 5:00 PM - UPDATE - Power is back on to most or all of the city. Traffic lights are operational again. 07-29-2017 - 2:25 PM - POWER OUTAGE - There is a power outage in Dry Ridge, which seems to involve most of the city. Duke Energy is aware. This also has disabled most of the traffic lights in the City. Use caution at these intersections as many drivers will be confused about how to handle the situation. If you have the right of way, observe the other vehicles and be prepared in case one of them pulls out in front of you.
