🛑WANTED SUSPECT🛑 The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office is attempting to locate 33 year old Travis Dailey of Nicholasville. At around 07:40 AM a Deputy saw the suspect at a residence off Holloway Lane which is just off Ky 169 near Keene. The suspect took off on foot and went across an area of farm land. He was seen at drive way off Cave Springs Dr. He has a total of 6 warrants on him. 2 out of Fayette District Court for Probation Violation. 2 out of Boyle County for Fleeing and Evading and Drug paraphernalia. 1 out of Jessamine Co for Failure to pay Restitution. 1 out of Nicholas Co for Failure to Appear. The reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) involved in the shooting of the young thoroughbred late on September 27 in Jessamine County is now $15,000. Unknown person(s) fired multiple rounds from a rifle into a horse paddock striking a young colt. Unfortunately the young thoroughbred had to be euthanized at the scene. The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office announce that the Thoroughbred stakeholders have come together to offer a $12,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the shooting of a foal in Jessamine County late on September 27. Unknown person(s) fired multiple rounds from a rifle into a horse paddock striking a young colt. Unfortunately the young thoroughbred had to be euthanized at the scene. On 9-27-2018 between the hours of 1100pm and 200am, unknown person(s) fired multiple rounds from a rifle into a horse paddock at 6585 Tate’s Creek Road Springhouse Farm striking a young thoroughbred. ***Update*** Thanks for citizen tips! Steven Hicks age 39 from Indian Springs Alabama has been arrested for Theft by Unlawful Taken Under $500, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Attempted Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. Mr. Hicks is also wanted in Alabama for Felony Possession with Intent (Drugs most likely but doesn’t specify) also has 3 warrants out of Arkansas and Tennessee. Arkansas and Tennessee will not extradite but Alabama will. The Jessamine County Sheriff Office wants to thank you for your assistance! GW

On August 18, 2018 around 4:00pm a vehicle was broken into at the Jessamine Creek Hiking Trail on Corman Lane. The suspect pictured stole a purse from the vehicle and attempted to use stolen credit cards at CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, and Speedway. ⭐️WANTED PERSON⭐️ The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office is seeking information on the location of a wanted subject. The Sheriffs Office is looking for 20 year old Eric Cannady of Nicholasville. He has a warrant out of Jessamine District Court for Failure to Appear. He also has 6 warrants out of Fayette County. He has a EPO out of Fayette County to be served. He is described as 20 years old, African American Male, 5`8” 240 lbs, Hair-black, eyes-brown. His Fayette County warrants are for Kidnapping, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Assault 4th, Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Appear for Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), Receiving Stolen Property- 5 Counts, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Possession of Marijuana. *** Update*** The Suspect wanted for Monday’s incident with a Jessamine County Sheriffs Deputy has turned himself in. Just after 9 PM Thursday, James Ryan Gosser 22 of Nicholasville, came to the Jessamine County Detention Center. He was served the warrants he was wanted for and the new charges stemming from Monday nights incident. The charges from Monday are Attempting to disarm a police officer, Resisting Arrest, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree, Giving Officer False Name and Improper or No Windshield on Vehicle.

He has a warrant from Jessamine County for Leaving the Scene of an accident. He also has a Parole Violation Warrant. As the Deputy was attempting to arrest him, Gosser resisted arrest and in the process assaulted the Deputy. He then fled the scene. He is described as 5’-10” 180 lbs eyes-blue. He will face several charges in relation to the incident with the deputy. ****UPDATE**** The two wanted subjects Derick Drury and Heather Shelton have been apprehended today in Lexington. The Lexington Police and US Marshal Task Force and The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office arrested the two without incident.

The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office is asking for information to the whereabouts of two wanted suspects. Derrick Drury age 39 from Nicholasville is wanted on a warrant of Escape 2nd Degree. He left the program he was assigned to at Dismiss Charities in Jefferson County on March 27 of this year. He was serving time for Burglary 3rd, Theft by Extortion, Burglary 2nd, Receiving Stolen property and Theft by Unlawful Taking (2counts). Heather Mychelle Shelton age 34 of Nicholasville is wanted on a warrant out of Jessamine Circuit Court for Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500. They are believed to be together. Derrick Drury DOB 06-15-78 5’-10” 200 lbs. Hair-Blonde Eyes-Blue. Heather Mychelle Shelton DOB 07-25-83 5’-8” 180 lbs. Hair-Blonde Eyes-Blue. ***UPDATE*** The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office announce that 16 year old Allyson Waters missing since March 14th has been located safely. She was located Tuesday, April 10th. The Sheriffs Office would like to thank the public for their help.

The Jessamine County Sheriff Office is seeking the public’s help in locating 16 year old, Allyson Waters. She has been missing since March 14, 2018. Allyson was last seen at her her home on that date. She is believed to have been picked up at her home by an unknown person. On January 26th 2018, a diamond ring valued at several thousand dollars was taken from the Castle Pawn Shop. The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office has images of two persons of interest. The persons of interest are two African American males. One has been seen in a white Camaro with black racing stripes on it. The second suspect was seen in a black Acura. The Jessamine County Sheriffs Office is asking for the public’s help to identify this suspect. At around 06:17 AM on Sunday morning February 18th 2018, Deputies received a call of a Burglary in progress at Zack’s Auto Sales at 1800 Danville Road Loop 1. When Deputies arrived the suspect fled the scene and got into a dark blue or black Dodge Dakota that had a very loud exhaust. The suspect fled the scene after taking two catalytic converters. The Sheriff Office is aware of the picture going around social media and are working with Nicholasville Police Department at this time, to take care of this situation and this most serious matter. Both Agencies take threats like this extremely serious and are working diligently to protect our community.
