We will be providing a shuttle from the Scott County Park to Cardome once general parking fills up. General Parking will be available at Cardome, but due to weather a portion of the lot will now be used for the car show. We appreciate your patience tomorrow and know we’re here to help so everyone can come out and have a great day!! We’ll see you tomorrow!

SCOTT COUNTY PROPERTY OWNERS - 2018 PROPERTY TAX BILLS ARE IN THE MAIL! Please watch for this important document to arrive in the next few days. Taxes may be paid to our office, at both Georgetown Kentucky Bank locations, and you can now pay your bill online or check the status anytime at Tax bills are eligible for a 2% discount if paid by November 30th. If you've not received your bill by the end of next week, or if you should have any questions about your bill, you may contact our office at (502) 863-7855.

Lt. Josh Hudnall got more back up today at Eastern Elementary!! Officer Maggie Yates helped patrol the hallways with him and keep all the children safe! Great job Officer Yates!

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank one of their own for today’s #217 Strong Bike Ride and its overwhelming success. B. J. and Kim Hayes, pictured below with Sheriff Hampton, organized this ride and put in countless hours behind the scenes for the last month. They did it for one reason, Jaime Morales. Their hard work and selflessness is not only an example of their own character but also another example of the 217 Strong attitude that is being felt in our community and around the state. Scott County........We now have Morales Way! Today during our 217 Strong Bike Ride the City of Georgetown and Scott County Fiscal Court named a street after Deputy Jaime Morales. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office now sits at the corner of N. Hamilton and Morales Way!! #217Strong

TRAFFIC ALERT! If you are in the Georgetown-Scott County region today from noon to 3:30 you may see and hear some rolling thunder! We have several hundred motorcycle riders participating in the #217 Strong Bike Ride. They will start at Georgetown Community Hospital at noon and make a stop about an hour later at the Sheriff’s Office at 1pm before continuing on their route. The will conclude their ride at Country Boy Brewery. If you see them coming please take a moment to yield and show your support for Unit 217 Deputy Jaime Morales. #217Strong
