Project Childsafe gun locks are available at Taylorsville PD. If you would like to secure your weapons feel free to stop by the police department Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to pick them up. They are FREE!

In the last few days we have received calls from residents about the IRS calling them. The people making these calls are saying they have a warrant for your arrest if you do not pay them a certain amount of money. THIS IS A SCAM AND THESE PEOPLE MAKING THE CALLS ARE NOT THE IRS!!!! Please do not give them any information of yours that they can use to receive any type of payment.
