Bad news folks. It's looking like I-20 eastbound at the Texas state line will still be closed at rush hour tonight. Please consider an alternate route like Texas FM 9 to US 79 to Buncombe Road. And remember to watch out for first responders who will be directing traffic until the road is reopened.

Traffic is still being diverted from I-20 eastbound at the Texas state line due to an 18-wheeler accident early this morning. As a result, traffic is backed up on Hwy. 80 between Greenwood and Waskom. Please consider using the alternate route of Texas FM 9 to US 79 to Buncombe Road. Eastbound I-20 is not expected to reopen until this afternoon after road repairs take place.
