SCAM ALERT!!!!! The Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office has received numerous calls in reference to a scam. Citizens are receiving phone calls from unknown subjects advising them a judge has issued a warrant for their arrest and we have to serve them. They are then instructed to go get a "Fred's voucher" or some type card or money order to call them back with payment information. We encourage all citizens not to give any of your personal information to these callers as this is a scam and not the sheriff's office. Definitely do not send them any form of payment. If you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call.
