Halloween is just a day away! Parents be sure to keep an eye on what is put in your child's goody bag! Always exercise caution during this busy time of year. -Plan a route. -Stick to well lit areas. -Look both ways before crossing streets. -Never travel alone. -Only enter homes/apts with a trusted adult. -Eat only factory wrapped candy. Discard any homemade candy or goodies unless its from a trusted individual. -Call your local police or sheriff if anything seems suspicious. And remember, it may look like candy....but it isn't always.

ITS HERE

Several people have been contacted by an out of state number by a "robo" call from the IRS. The message says that the person is delinquent and has a warrant for their arrest but can clear it by calling the number back and sending in pre-paid debt cards. Folks, this is a scam! No governmental agency will contact anyone by phone asking for money. Just hang up.

whoops...
