We are humbled, proud, and honored to be part of something that is so much bigger than ourselves. When the safety of our children are top priority, you make sure that all 2,400 Tangipahoa Parish teachers, faculty, and staff are educated and trained on how to respond to acts of violence and active shooter events - if one were ever to occur in any of our schools. Thank you, Sheriff Edwards and Superintendent Melissa Stilley! Tonight, these guys were honored and celebrated for making that initiative happen. TPSO Sergeants Jacob Schwebel and Tom Wheeler, and Detectives Heath Martin and Danny Sharkey, thank you for your selfless service. We would also like to acknowledge our trusted partners and alliances, Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa’ s CEO and Executive Director Jodie Rohner and LSP Sergeant Trooper Jason Lamarca. Both were also honored tonight for their efforts and collaboration in working to keep our school environments safe!

Thank you, TPG and TRACC! Had a blast with you guys tonight! #TeamTangi #TPSOProud
