On 8/16/2015 K9 Ofc. Eric Turner responded to shots fired call at Diamonds night club in Farmerville along with Ofc. Bobby Holly and Ofc. Daniel Robinson. Upon arrival K9 Ofc. Turner and K9 Jack apprehended the suspect and took possession of a .380 firearm. A small amount of suspected Marijuana was found in his left front pocket. The suspect was advised of his Miranda rights and placed under arrest. Eye witness statements were that the suspect who has been identified as Devonte Lamon Green B/M 7/4/1993 Spearsville, La. was in the club when he shot three times then attempted to blend into the crowd of nearly two hundred people. Club security took him to the ground while awaiting officer arrival. No reported injuries from the shooting were reported. It was discovered that the pistol was stolen from Indiana. Green has been charged with the following crimes. *Simple possession of Marijuana *Possession of a stolen firearm *Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS Illegal use of a weapon

Officers with Farmerville Police Department along with the assistance of UPSO Deputies apprehended a suspect in the shooting of a man at club freedom at approx 0223 hrs Satuday morning. David Goldsby, b/m of Farmerville was arrested on the charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Illegal Carrying of a Weapon. During a verbal confrontation that turned physical, the victim, a 43yo b/m of Farmerville was shot in the lower back close to the spine. Upon officer arrival, Pafford Air One was launched and Smith was air lifted to LSU Trama Center for treatment. At this time his condition is critical. Also arrested was Ronald Lewis b/m of Farmerville who has been charged with Second Degree Battery. The incident is still being listed as under investigation at this time until FPD has all information concerning the altercation. Both Goldsby and Lewis were booked in at the Union Parish Detention Center where they will await bond.

The suspect gained access to an office and took two computers, these computers were diagnostic tools used for service. The suspect then went through several vehicles before taking a 2013 Ford Supercab F-150, silver in color. The vehicle should have damage to the right side rear where the suspect hit the building as he was leaving. The vehicle has noticeable black fender flares and a license plate on the front bumper that says "Old Fart" the vehicle will be bearing license plate number C065474 Louisiana. If you see this vehicle or have any information to this crime you can call 318-368-2226 or you can call Union Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-368-9679 You will remain anonymous and could earn a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment. Pictures and video of the suspect have been obtained by law enforcement and will be made public as time permits.

ARRESTED WERE: CARLA MANNING 29YO DIST. THE PEACE PUBLIC INTOX TERRANCE WILLIAMS 44YO DIST. THE PEACE PUBLIC INTOX THREATENING A PUBLIC OFFICIAL CURTIS LLOYD 29YO DIST. THE PEACE LOUD & PROFANE AT APPROX 11:10PM FARMERVILLE POLICE OFFICERS RESPONDED TO WHITE STREET TO A FIGHT IN PROGRESS CALL. UPON ARRIVAL OFFICERS FOUND A WHITE MALE BLEEDING WITH A HEAD WOUND AND OTHER MINOR INJURIES. ARRESTED WERE: ALEX BELL 46YO DISTURBING THE PEACE BY FIGHTING RESISTING BY FALSE INFORMATION RESISTING BY FORCE DERICK FEAZEL 30YO DISTURBING THE PEACE BY FIGHTING ENTERING OR REMAINING INTRODUCTION OF CONTRABAND ALL SUBJECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY BY A COURT OF LAW.

BECAUSE OF A QUICK RESPONSE AND THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS ON DUTY POLICE WERE ABLE TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE SCENE VERY QUICKLY. ARRESTED WERE: CRYSTAL L. GREEN 29yo DIST. The Farmerville High School Football Field house was broken into between Sunday night and Tuesday morning. Anyone with information about this break in please call the Farmerville Police Department at 368-2226 or Crime Stoppers of Union Parish at 368-9679 A money bag containing approx. $2700.00 in checks and cash was taken out of a desk drawer. It was in a blue Marion State Bank bag. This money was for the football team rings.

FARMERVILLE POLICE CALLED TO A MVA INVOLVING A CHILD: On Wed. May 23rd at approx 1810hrs 911 took a call form a hispanic female about a child being injured. 911 Dispatchers alerted the Farmerville Police Department who responded to the call for help. Upon arrival it was found that a Child was riding a bycicle down the hill on East Jackson st. and collided with a moving SUV heading south on Gulley St. The Child hit the SUV on the front right fender. The Child was taken to Union General Hospital by Pafford Ambulance and then flown to LSU Shreveport by Pafford Air One. Officers on scene tell us the Child was not critical but steps were taken to insure her safety.

FARMERVILLE POLICE ARREST REPORT: 5/27/2012 ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT APPROX. 11:55 FARMERVILLE POLICE AND UNION PARISH SHERIFF DEPUTIES ATTEMPTED TO SERVE A FELONY ARREST WARRANT ON GARRICK LEWIS 21yo OF FARMERVILLE AT THE CARWASH ON MAIN STREET. LEWIS RAN AND OFFICERS BEGAN CHASING HIM. LEWIS RAN WEST ON PARK ST. AND THEN CUT SOUTH AND RAN DOWN HILL STREET. LEWIS RAN INTO THE WOODED AREA BEHIND THE OLD "CANT TOUCH THIS" BUILDING. OFFICERS POSITIONED PATROL CARS IN AN ATTEMPT TO SECURE THE AREA THAT LEWIS WAS IN. WHILE OFFICERS WERE SEARCHING THAT AREA LEWIS WAS SEEN CROSSING CARGILE DR. LEWIS RAN WEST TOWARDS THE HWY DEPARTMENT AND CAME OUT ON PARK ST. OFFICERS CHASED HIM THROUGH A WOODED AREA TOWARDS WEST BAYOU ST. WHERE OFFICERS CHASED HIM ACROSS W. BAYOU AND AROUND HOUSES TO MACK DR. LEWIS BARRICADED HIMSELF IN HIS GRANDMOTHERS HOME AND REFUSED TO COME OUT. SRT AND K-9 WERE CALLED OUT TO ASSIST THE OFFICERS ALREADY ON SCENE. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO TALK LEWIS OUT AND APPREHEND HIM BEFORE SRT AND K-9 ARRIVED. THE STANDOFF LASTED APPROX. 40 MIN GARRICK LEWIS A.K.A. "G G" WAS CHARGED WITH THE FOLLOWING: INTIMIDATING, IMPEDING OR INJURING WITNESSES RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER RESISTING AN OFFICER PUBLIC INTIMIDATION AND RETALIATION LEWIS WAS BOOKED INTO THE UNION PARISH DETENTION CENTER. ALL SUBJECTS ARRESTED ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY BY A COURT OF LAW

ON THURSDAY JULY 12TH AT APPROX 1758HRS FARMERVILLE POLICE OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO RUSTON ST. CONCERNING A FORCED ENTRY AT A MOBILE HOME. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO TRACK DOWN A FEW SUSPECTS AND UPON QUESTIONING THESE SUSPECTS POLICE MADE TWO ARRESTS. ALL OF THE VICTIMS ITEMS WERE RECOVERED AND RETURNED BY 11:30PM
