Please remember the speed limits in the school zone!! The limit is 15/25!! It will be strictly enforced!!!This is for the safety of the kids!!

If cars with NO tags & license are still sitting in your yard covered with a tarp or not & it can still be seen, that mean I can still see your covered vehicle & you're still in violation & some more citations will be coming your way unless you have called the CULLEN POLICE DEPT. & made some kind of arrangements Court Dates will be coming real soon!! 7/18/18 @ 9:30. To be Exact. Again I'm just starting Here but I will NOT finish Here..#ChiefHarris... Don't listen to Outsiders they will get you a Court Date!!!!

Just a Friendly Reminder if you received a Green Flyer and you haven't did Anything to correct the Situation Court Dates are coming soon.

Please come take care of your business, before we have to come see you!!

I'm going to make this as clear as I can. I think the ones that came to the council meeting still didn't get a clear understanding because of the bickering. But here it is again IF YOU GET A GREEN FLYER THAT MEANS YOU HAVE A VEHICLE OR VEHICLES ON YOUR PROPERTY THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WITH and if you've haven't received it yet it's on the way. After receiving that notice you have 30 Days to correct the problem. IF nothing is done within the 30 days WE The Cullen Police Dept will take pictures and give you a court date.NO I DID NOT HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE PAPER, NOR DID I HAVE TO BRING IT BEFORE THE ALDERMEN FIRST. The reason being is because it's ALREADY an ORDINANCE. I DID NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM IT. IT'S NOT A NEW ORDINANCE IT'S BEEN IN THE TOWN ORDINANCE BOOK FOR YEARS JUST HAVEN'T BEEN ENFORCED. This is where i'm starting but this is not where I'm going to end, I'm going to do what you elected me to do ENFORCE THE LAW Some of y'all talking about crack houses, drugs and so on I hate to burst your bubble but they are EVERYWHERE and they are going to be EVERYWHERE. I'm sorry but that's the world we live in now.and if you don't believe that you're not going to last very long. I'm going to try my best to help get Cullen Cleaned Up by starting Somewhere. I have Love for the TOWN OF CULLEN and the people in it. If I sat in this position and did nothing you will talk about it and if I try to do something you're going to talk about it. So I'm going to give you a reason to talk maybe after while you will start asking where can we the citizens of OUR Fine Town can HELP!!!! Share This Post because IT'S THE LAW!!!!. This is written by YOUR Chief Of Police... Rosetta Carr Harris..

We know who you are so be ye also ready.

If your name is on the warrants list then it's in the local computer as an active warrant. However, there may be some who have taken care of these but their name wasn't removed from the local computer. Please keep calling so that if there is a discrepancy, we can fix it before it becomes a problem. Scenario: Suppose you were stopped by a police officer on your way to Florida or some other state, and the officer realized from your driver's license that you were from Springhill, Cullen, La or some other city in Webster Parish. If the officer calls our dispatcher, the dispatcher would see the same names that are on the warrants list. If it is after hours and city hall has closed for the day, we won't be able to verify the validity of the warrant, which would farther incoveniene you. That's why it's so important to take care of this now. If we verify that your name is in error we will remove it. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We are clearing out the old and getting ready for the new.
