This guy is to believed to be part of the subjects we posted on June 21 that went into the Family Dollar in Brusly and stole 1,744 dollars worth of tobacco products. Brusly Police department needs your help identifing the subjects in the pictures. On June 20, 2018, at 3:30 pm, three subjects walked into the Family Dollar. One of the famales requested the store clerk's help. Once the clerk left from behind the counter to help her, the unknown male went behind the counter and took a case of tobacco products worth 1,744 dollars and ran out to the store. Anyone that can help identify the three subjects, Please contact the Brusly Police department at 225-749-2980.

The Brusly Police Departments highest priority is protecting this community and everyone inside of it. The juvenile student in question has been in police custody since 4:30 am this morning. We are still diligently investigating this matter, and will release information as it becomes available. We believe Brusly high school was, and will continue to be safe and secure. Out of an abundance of caution we will have extra officers on campus to ensure the safety of everyone for the remainder of the school year. He graduated today from Carta class 36 and received The physical fitness award for the highest PT scores in his class along with serving as class president during the Academy. We have extra officers out on patrol during trick or treat hours. Each officer will be handing out candy so please feel free to introduce the children as they pass. The phone lines at the police department are currently under maintenance and will not be operational this evening. Everything should be restored to normal working order soon.

LA 989-2 (E. Main St.) at LA 1 in West Baton Rouge Parish will have a northbound right lane turn and southbound left turn lane closure from 9am until 2pm beginning Tuesday, September 26, 2017 and ending Thursday, September 28, 2017.
