Start gathering them up now so you'll be ready! ... READ MORE ABOUT THIS EVENT BELOW ... DID YOU KNOW medicines that sit around in home cabinets are highly susceptible to misuse and abuse? The frequency of prescription drug abuse and accidental poisonings and overdoses is steadily on the rise and studies show that many abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, often right from the home medicine cabinet. Do you know how to properly dispose of unused medicine? DON’T flush them down the toilet or throw them away – both are potential safety and health hazards! . Bring them to us! WFPSO Drug Take Back Days aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
