THE PARKING BAN IS OVER. NOW YOU KNOW!

The IRS will NEVER call you! Dozens of local 743 numbers have been recently called telling them that they will be arrested, and/or there are warrants out for their arrest. These are SCAM calls! Try not to get worked up and nervous. It is a SCAM. Don’t offer any information, just hang up on them. Don’t confirm or deny who you are, just hang up on them. Please help spread the work! Also, the scam is circulating that your grandchild has been arrested and needs your bail money. This is a SCAM! They trick you into stating your grandchild’s name and then confirm, “yes, Billy!” If Billy was arrested and needed bail money he would be the one calling you. Also, he most likely wouldn’t be calling his beloved grandparents to let them he was arrested. No offense! Play it safe. If you don’t personally know the caller don’t answer any questions! - From the Adams Council on Aging & The Adams Police Department
