We have had similar reports of people posing as DPW workings going door-to-door in Acushnet. Please know that Acushnet DPW and Highway Dept. employees will ALWAYS have badges, and will drive a Town vehicle with the Acushnet seal on the side and blue official plates, never an unmarked vehicle. Please report any suspicious activity to the Acushnet Communications Center at 508-998-0240.

It is very sad that we even have to post this, but if anyone has information on this disgusting act, please come forward. We at the APD are very distraught over this, and need your help to find the individual(s) responsible.
