The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be conducting a search and rescue training exercise today between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm in the area of the Beverly Airport and the Putnamville Reservoir. During this exercise they will be utilizing a military helicopter and a small civilian aircraft. Residents may observe some low flying aircraft in these areas, this is only a training exercise.

Det. Tim Williamson assisted Beverly Police Department Detectives with the arrest of Wilky R. Gomez-Savinon, who was charged with Trafficking Class A Heroin, Fentanyl and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Oxycodone, and possession of counterfeit notes.
