Last week at our Special Citizens Academy everyone learned about our Community Command Center as well as crime scene investigations. They even got to see their famous faces on the Boston 25 News story! See everyone tomorrow at graduation!

Director of Community Affairs Ken Doucette gave a presentation on "The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office & Keeping You Safe" at Reading Housing Authority this week. Attendees learned all about the Sheriff's Office, including tips to avoid scams and identity theft.

We are looking forward to another great day at the Special Citizens Academy this week! Recently, the attendees learned about fire safety. A big thank you to Massachusetts Department of Fire Services for providing us with their fire safety equipment! Everyone got to see two K9 demos, one by MSO Officer John Pimentel and K9 Pebbles and another by National Park Service Ranger David Pinkos and NPS K9 Oscar.
