Detectives are seeking to identify this individual in relation to an armed robbery (handgun) at the 7-Eleven located at 504 Washington Street. The robbery occurred at around 12:04AM this morning. There were several people in the area at the time of the robbery. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying this individual in relation to an armed robbery at the Mobil station (2776 Washington Street [Route 138]) that occurred on October 5, 2018 at 9:30PM. The same subject then robbed a Mobil station in Stoughton (372 Washington Street [Route 138]) several minutes later. The suspect walks with a distinctive limp in his lower left leg. This same suspect is wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies in Canton, Stoughton and surrounding communities. A handgun was displayed during all incidents. With deep regret the Canton Police Department announces the death of retired Officer Thomas Keleher Sr. Tom was a fixture in the department and the community for over 30 years. His smile and personality will be missed but his legacy will live on.

In addition to Brendon Amado, a third suspect involved in the July 13th home invasion on Rockland St was arrested in Boston on Friday July 20th. Michael Nguyen, 18, of Quincy was taken into custody in Dorchester by Canton Police, Boston Police and ATF Boston. He was held over the weekend on $100,000 bail and will be arraigned at Stoughton District Court this morning on charges ranging from Home Invasion and Armed Assault in a Dwelling (Firearm) to Armed and Masked Robbery.

Brendon Amado was arrested early this morning by Canton Police, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, ATF Boston and Brockton Police. We would like to thank all of those agencies for their invaluable assistance in apprehending Amado.
