October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Marshfield Police Department is assisting the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office with a toiletry drive collection box in our lobby for October. All items dropped off will be given to local agencies that provide services to domestic violence victims.

The Marshfield Police would like to thank everyone involved in assisting us last week during the domestic violence tragedy. Numerous local and state agencies including, District Attorney Tim Cruz Office, Massachusetts State Police, Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, Boston Police Department (Official), Metro-LEC, and every surrounding community sent resources immediately. In addition the outpouring of support and assistance from local businesses and residents was greatly appreciated. From assisting with the investigation to dropping off food for the officers it was a heartwarming response. Anyone who did not receive updates on their home and/or cell phones during this emergency should sign up for CODE RED . This is easily done by following the link attached below. https://www.pcsdma.org/codered.html
