The Police Chiefs of Plymouth County are pleased to announce that Plymouth County Outreach (PCO) has been awarded a federal grant that will significantly improve the services provided by the group in the coming years. PCO will receive the $496,650 grant as part of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) Program through the U.S. Department of Justice. Allen Warner a suspect wanted for his alleged connection in the homicide of his wife in Marshfield Monday night was captured by the Whitman Police Department Tuesday afternoon. I want to commend Officer Mark Poirier for his outstanding awareness and quick action in apprehending Warner. I also want to commend all Whitman Police personnel who provided assistance during this incident. In addition, I would like to thank the Dunkin Donuts workers on South Avenue who called in the hit-and-run crash at the drive-thru that subsequently resulted in Warner's capture." Scott D.
