**ANNOUNCEMENT** We are happy to announce that we now have a sharps collection container in our lobby at 23 Linden St. We get tons of calls from residents inquiring where they can safely dispose of their sharps, so we are happy to now be able to provide this service. Please bring sharps in a container (of any type) so that we do not have free floating sharps in the box!

Picture sent in by a town resident on Allen Rd. Reminder that bird feeders and trash left outside are prime sources of food for bears and other animals

Today, like everyday we remember all the lives lost in the events and aftermath of the attacks on 9/11/01. You will never be forgotten

We have been receiving reports of bear(s) showing up all over town today! This is for informational purposes only. Please make sure you are aware of your surroundings while outside especially if outside with small animals or children. We live in the woods for the most part, and bears are a normal part of our community even though we don’t see them everyday. Please see the attached form from MA wildlife for contact information if you would like to notify them of the location or if you have an encounter. If there is a life threatening issue to report with the bear please call 911, or your local emergency number however just a bears presence is not cause for alarm! https://www.mass.gov/files/2017-08/black-bear-flier_2.pdf

Great training opportunity for any law enforcement officer being hosted by our department! See the below flyer for registration information

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!
