Throughout the month of November, our Police Department will be participating in No-Shave November in order to raise awareness and funds for Home Base and to break the stigma associated with post-traumatic stress (PTS) and other invisible wounds of war that our returning Service Members and their families face. So don't be surprised to see officers around town with full grown beards and goatees this month! Officers from across the region will also be taken part in this great awareness movement! End of October is near us, get your BPD Pink Patch now while you still can! The Pink Patch proceeds are donated to Dana Farber Institute! Patches are available for $10 each at the Police Station. Thank you to everyone who has purchased one and showed your support for the fight against breast cancer! 🎀

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. You can participate in this by bring your unwanted, expired medications and dropping them off into bin in the police station lobby. This Saturday, October 27th!!
