Especially here in Northern Michigan . NOTE: You do not have to ALTERNATE lots, just sides in the Lot 1 or 2. You can use either lot that will best fit your needs. REMINDER: Winter parking goes into effect tonight in the City of Harbor Springs. Parking is not allowed on streets or most parking lots in town between the hours of 2:30 am & 6:00 am. Parking is allowed in the lot behind Gurney's & Kelbel Pharmacy or the lot between the Depot & Zorn Park, just off of W Bay St.

We ask you to please make sure you take any valuables from your car. Please, make sure you LOCK your cars/trucks overnight. The Harbor Springs Police is monitoring the areas closely and reports are being investigated at this time. 8-15-2017 UPDATE.... We want everyone to know that these cars WERE NOT broken into. These cars were UNLOCKED. Make sure you LOCK your cars and do not leave valuables in car. PLEASE NOTE. NO HOUSES have been entered into. Rumor mill getting carried away. Again, NO HOUSES have been entered.

101st Christmas Tree Lighting Date: November 26, 2016 Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EST Come celebrate 101 years of a magical tradition in downtown Harbor Springs at the Christmas Tree Lighting. This is one of the most unforgettable ways to start off the holiday season! Gather with your friends, neighbors and visitors to enjoy the special charm of downtown Harbor Springs. Once the tree is lighted, winners of the window decorating contest will be announced and everyone will join in singing a few Christmas carols. Following the tree lighting, the public is welcome to attend an ecumenical chili dinner in the Holy Childhood Parish Hall at 150 W Main Street, just adjacent to the tree. Grab a cup of hot chili prepared by area churches. Cookies and cocoa will be provided by the Smith-Hoover American Legion Post #281 Auxiliary, sponsored by First Community Bank.
