[UPDATE] MALE HAS BEEN LOCATED. HE IS SAFE AND UNINJURED. MISSING PERSON: The Flint Township Police Department needs your assistance in locating an 85 year old w/m, identified as James Lewis. Mr. Lewis was last seen at his residence in the area of Corunna Rd and Dye Rd at approximately 6:00am on 9/6/18. Mr. Lewis was last seen wearing a white shirt with white shorts and suspenders. He is described as 5'8" 170 lbs having gray hair (pictured below) and possibly wearing glasses. Mr. Lewis has a history of dementia and is believed to be traveling on foot. If you have any information regarding Mr. Lewis' whereabouts please call 911 immediately.

Today marks Flint Township Police K9 Gunner's last shift alongside his partner, Officer Donovan. K9 Gunner came to us from the Netherlands and completed the Oakland Police Academy K9 program in 2011. Gunner spent his seven-year career detecting narcotics, protecting his handler, assisting in the apprehension of suspects, and tracking wanted suspects as well as missing/endangered persons. We wish Gunner a happy and relaxing retirement and are so thankful for his years of service and dedication to the Flint Township Police Department.
