With summer approaching, there will be a spike in thefts from vehicles and yards. We are urging citizens to keep your car doors locked at all times and refrain from leaving anything of value inside of your vehicles. Please be vigilant and do not hesitate to report suspicious activity by calling Ionia County Central Dispatch at (616)527-0400. This is the fast way to get a officer on scene in non-emergency situations. If you SEE something SAY something!

Great job, Officer Sterner!
