STAR EMS happened to witness it as well and helped with the transport. We took the injured bird to the vet and it is being released to a wildlife rehabilitation center later today. Great job Jennifer! Chief Keller

Congratulations Officer Mesaros!!! Officer Kristopher Mesaros received a Life Saving Award at the White Lake Township Board Meeting this week. Officer Mesaros was dispatched to a residence where he found a woman slumped in her car. She had no pulse and wasn't breathing. Officer Mesaros pulled the woman from her vehicle, laid her on the ground, and initiated CPR, continuing life-saving efforts, unassisted, until members of STAR EMS and WLTFD arrived on scene to take over advanced life-support. I am happy to report that our resident is alive and well thanks to the quick actions by Officer Mesaros!!!
