Pretty scary stuff...... Outstanding job by the City of Wixom Fire Department and all agencies that helped out!

At 5:17am this morning, Wixom Officers were dispatched to a fire at Building 2 in the Stoneridge Apartment complex. Officers arrived shortly after and started evacuating the building immediately. The City of Wixom Fire Department arrived on scene and began to extinguish the fire as other area agencies arrived to assist. The fire is out and we’re happy to report that there were no injuries and everyone is safe due to the quick response of our Officers, the Wixom Fire Department and all assisting agencies. We’d like to thank officers of the Novi, Walled Lake, Wolverine Lake and Milford Police departments as well as Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance. We’d also like to thank the fire crews from Milford, South Lyon, Novi, Commerce Twp and Walled Lake for their quick responses and aid.

Congratulations Sgt. Caldwell!

Huge shout-out to the nice little girl who traded her sweet My Little Pony artwork for two police stickers!!!! It's now hanging from our duty room board.
