On Saturday, October 27th from 10a-2p Marine City Police Department will be participating in the DEA National Drug Take Back Day at our Department (375 S Parker St). Bring in your unused, unwanted, expired medications for disposal. We can only take pills and patches, NO LIQUIDS or SHARPS.

***UPDATE. OUR PHONES ARE BACK UP*** Comcast is installing new phones at our Department today so our phone lines will be down for a period of time. We will notify everyone when they are back up. Around 2:00 P.M. yesterday, we were sent to the intersection of Chartier and Parker for a car accident. Marine City Fire Authority, Algonac Fire Department, Marine CIty DPW, St. Clair County Road Commission, St. Clair County Sheriff Department, and Tri-Hospital EMS all assisted at the scene. I would like to personally thank them all for their hardwork, professionalism, and dedication to their respective jobs. It is this team effort that I am honored to be a part of. We just received our new bicycle safety booklets! We have one for youth cyclists and one for adult cyclists. If you are interested please stop in to see us and grab one! Thank you to the League of Michigan Bicyclists for providing the educational material.

On Saturday, April 28th, Marine City Police Department in conjunction with the DEA collected just under 50 pounds of medications for disposal as part of the DEA National Drug Take Back Day. We would like to thank the citizens for their help in keeping these kinds of drugs off the streets.

A Hit and Run Property Damage Accident occured on 3/22/18 at 9:40AM in the 100 block of N. Elizabeth. The suspect is a tall, white male possibly in his 40's with dark hair. The vehicle is a 80's or 90's larger, white sedan. Possibly a Ford or Mercury. The suspect vehicle should have damage on its right side with a red paint transfer. If you saw this accident occur or you have information on who did this please contact the Marine City Police Department at 810-765-4040
