***CRIME BULLETIN*** On October 18, 2018, Ann Arbor Police Officers responded to a Bank Robbery at Chase Bank, 2475 W. Stadium, shortly after 1000 hours. A lone male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller at the counter, and demanded money. No weapon was seen. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as an unknown male, 25 – 35 years of age, 5’9” with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black bandana on his face, black pants and dark colored shoes. After exiting the bank, the suspect was seen walking towards the direction of S. ****AAPD Media Release - 10/11/2018**** AAPD officers arrested a 22 year old Jackson, Michigan resident for an Armed Robbery/UDAA that occurred in Mary Beth Doyle Park on October 10, 2018. At approximately 0930 hours, the two victims reported that they were approached by a male suspect who ordered them to the ground at gunpoint. The suspect was able to obtain a wallet, car keys, and two cellular phones from the victims. The suspect then used the vehicle key fob located on the victim’s key ring to steal their vehicle and flee the scene. AAPD Detectives as well as the AAPD Criminal Intelligence Unit responded to the scene and, through their investigation, were able to ascertain a possible location of the suspect. The Criminal Intelligence Unit, along with several members of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department, located the vehicle in Ypsilanti Township and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
