Thanks to the Windom Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office for hosting A.L.I.C.E. training on November 1st and 2nd at Mountain Lake Public School. Officer Louis Norell and Deputy Justin Derickson spent the days training school faculty in response options in the case of a violent intruder.

***FOUND*** The pictured cat has been missing since Sunday. The owner would like the community's help in locating the cat. If you have seen the cat you can contact the PD. Thank you.

A black Motorola cellphone was turned in to the Police. It was left at Lawcon Park. Contact the Police Dept. if this is yours.

This dog was found in the city park. If anyone knows who the owner is please contact the police department on Facebook or call the sheriffs office.

We have come to notice that some children are either not properly buckled or not buckled at all while a vehicle is in motion. If you have any questions on proper seat belt use for your child please ask us. If we do not have an answer to your questions we can direct you to an individual or source that will help. Move to school day was a success!

The Mountain Lake Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriffs Office will be canceling the MILO training simulator that was scheduled for May 10th and 11th. This cancelation is due to the low number of applicants. For all that were interested there may be another opportunity later in the year.
