Interested in learning more about law enforcement, serving the community and volunteering? Join us at city hall (2875 145th St W, lower lot) this Friday 11/09/2018 @ 6:00pm to learn more about the explorer program. Meet current advisors, current explorers and take a tour of our police department. This group is for young men and women ages 14-21 who have completed the 8th grade.

Make yourself a reminder ! On Monday November 19th Rosemount Police Officers will be bagging groceries from 3:30-5:30 at the Rosemount Cub Foods to help raise money for the 4th annual "Shop with a Cop" event. 100% of the proceeds go back to kids in this community ! If you would like to donate to this cause checks can dropped at the police department prior to this event !

***Update*** The dog has been found, and the owner has been notified. Thank you everyone for sharing this post. 🚨Found Dog Alert!!🚨 Is this your dog or does anyone know who’s dog this may be??? Officers are still trying to capture the dog. Please contact the Rosemount Police department by calling 651-322-2323 and help us find the owner. The dog appears to have one eye and was found in the area of Hwy 3 & 160th St.

With October coming to a close, so does the annual #PinkPatchProject. A BIG THANK YOU to MIssy and her daughter from "Bags of Hope" for donating 30 duffle bags filled with toiletries, blankets, teddy bears and activity books for kids headed to foster care. We appreciate having something to give the kids to take with them during their difficult time! Bags were distributed to Dakota County Child Protection, Lakeville Police Department and the Rosemount Police Department!

Today Rosemount Sergeant Jeremiah Simonson and Hastings Officer Whitney Rinowski were joined by family and friends at US Bank Stadium for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer put on by the American Cancer Society. They sold pink patches and challenge coins and Officer Rinowski even ran the 5K in uniform! #TCSTRIDES #PinkPatchProject

The Hastings Police Department has joined the Rosemount Police Department and the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer. We are excited to welcome them to the #PinkPatchProject! Check out how sharp those uniforms look on Hastings Officer Whitney Rinowski and Rosemount Officer Nick Bellos. Like Rosemount PD, the Hastings pink patches are also available for sale to the public at the Hastings Police Department. At the end of October, all of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. We hope to see more Dakota County agencies join the campaign next year.
