Boone Police searching for a suspect who stole an automobile at gunpoint from 369 Village of Meadowview. Black male wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and a bandana with a white pattern over his face, accosted a female at gunpoint. Boone Police Files Charges in an Ongoing Identity Theft Operation On October 17, 2018, Boone Police received information about suspicious activity at a local convenience store. This information came from an identity theft victim in another part of the state. This victim gave information about their bank account being fraudulently used at a convenience store in Boone. Boone Police Department immediately began an investigation. During the investigation, Boone Police learned that a man wearing ball cap, sunglasses and a hood pulled up over his head used approximately a dozen financial cards to purchase merchandise from the store. The suspect was driving a gray or silver import sedan. On October 25, 2018, Boone Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the suspect in this case. This suspect was observed coming from the same convenience store where the stolen credit card information had been used. The suspect was identified and arrested for the crimes that occurred on October 17, 2018. “The Boone Police Department has not completed investigating this incident. Since the suspect’s arrest, more searches have been conducted and more evidence has been located. We expect to file more charges in this matter and are working towards identifying any possible co-conspirators.” – Lieutenant Chris Hatton, Investigations Division Commander The suspect in this investigation is: Adrian Gavin Marsh, age 29, of Queens Village, NY. The charges filed in this investigation are: 1 count of felony Identity Theft and 2 counts of misdemeanor Financial Card Fraud
