US 160 from Johnson, Kansas to Colorado State line is back open

At this time US 160 from Johnson, Kansas to the Colorado State line is closed

Right now the Stanton County Fire Department is assisting Baca County with a large fire, with the high winds it does make it seem like it is in our County but as of now it is not. We do have farmers with disks and fire trucks at State Line really. We have evacuated some residents that live close to State Line. Also the smoke is very thick so please avoid driving around this area. Please keep all responding in your prayers and will update when we can.

Reminder we will be doing the statewide tornado test today @ 10:00am
