FOX News reports that country singer Gretchen Wilson was arrested last night in Connecticut for causing a disturbance on a flight. Police claim she became belligerent toward officers involved.

After the plane she was aboard touched down at 7 p.m., cops found her at the Bradley International Airport due to a report of a “minor disturbance” during flight.

TMZ states that she allegedly began fighting with another passenger over the bathroom. Wilson, 45, allegedly got into a shoving match after exchanging words with the other passenger over using the bathroom on the airplane. Prior to the incident, she reportedly waited and knocked on the bathroom door.

The two continued to exchange threats throughout the remainder of the 80-minute flight.

After getting off the plane, Wilson found the officers waiting for her and demanded they arrest her.

Wilson was arrested and charged with breach of peace. She is expected to appear in court today, and her bail was set at $1,000.

This isn’t the first time Wilson has encountered trouble on a plane, either. In October 2007 she received a citation for cursing out flight attendants after asking her to put her dog back into a carrying case.

Wilson is scheduled for a private concert Wednesday at Mohegan Sun casino, and her tour begins in September with the first show on Labor Day in Ohio.
