People.com reports that Khalid White, 30, has been arrested for the Colorado murder and sexual assault of Kimberlee Graves, a massage therapist who went missing in December. On December 4, 2017, Graves disappeared and her home was found ransacked. Her car was found a week later in a parking garage, and her body was found January 9 in Lory State Park.

White’s charges include murder, tampering with a deceased human body, sexual assault and identity theft, says People. He has not entered a plea and is being held without bond. No attorney is listed on record for White.

Graves’ remains were found by a park employee. She leaves behind two children.

Court documents state that the coroner determined there was sexual assault in the attack, and her death was a result of homicide by blunt force trauma and manual strangulation, states People.

Police believe Graves’ home was ransacked by multiple people who had access to her house and not White. They did determine early in the investigation that White knew Graves and may have been connected to her disappearance.

White missed a probation meeting on December 14, and an arrest warrant was issued in his name for violation. Police learned he had left the state on a bus, and he was retrieved on December 20 in Nevada. White was in possession of Graves’ identification and other items at the time of his arrest.

Colorado police traveled to Nevada to interview White. They arrested him and stated that there was evidence found that linked him to her death, though the evidence was not specified.
