Kelsey Berreth, a 29-year-old mother, disappeared on Thanksgiving. Police believe the last person to ever see her was her fiancé, Patrick Frazee. Berreth met up with Frazee to allow him time to be with the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Kaylee.

A few days passed before Berreth’s mother became extremely worried. On December 2nd, she contacted local authorities to report her daughter’s disappearance. Investigators quickly began working to locate Berreth, and a multi-state search was immediately launched. Both Berreth and Frazee’s homes were thoroughly searched, but the victim has yet to be found.

On December 21st, authorities unexpectedly arrested Patrick Frazee. The suspect has allegedly been cooperating with police and voluntarily turned over his phone to law enforcement last week. He reportedly also provided a DNA sample, photographs and information to police. In response to the arrest, The Police Chief of the Woodland Park Police Department, Miles De Young, explained, “As you can tell from the arrest, sadly, we do not believe Kelsey is still alive.”

Currently, it appears Frazee is facing charges of solicitation of murder and first-degree murder. Police have not yet provided additional details about the possible motive in this crime. The suspect’s charges could potentially carry a life sentence if he is convicted. Frazee is currently being held at the Teller County Jail.

The couple’s one-year-old, Kaylee, has been taken into protective state custody. Kaylee is expected to be reunited with Berreth’s family members in the future. Police continue to offer a $25,000 reward for any information related to this case.
