Concerned neighbors in Pennsylvania became increasingly worried when they didn’t see one family for over a week. They decided to reach out to local authorities and ask them to perform a wellness check on the home. Police complied with the requests, and they were shocked when they arrived on scene.
On February 25th, authorities descended on the Bucks County apartment to check on the family. At around 5:30 P.M., police were distressed to discover multiple deceased bodies within the home. 45-year-old Shana S. Decree and 19-year-old Dominique Decree were reportedly inside the two-bedroom apartment with the bodies. The mother and daughter duo were both immediately transported to the hospital. Authorities have not yet disclosed why the two needed medical care.
Detectives analyzed the scene and found five deceased individuals. According to the Morrisville Chief of Police, the bodies did not display any obvious signs of trauma. It remains unclear how the family members passed away, but an investigation is underway.
The deceased individuals were all related to the mother and daughter. The victims include:
• 25-year-old Naa’Irah Smith
• An unidentified 13-year-old minor
• 42-year-old Jamilla Campbell
• 9-year-old twins Imani and Erika Allen
Authorities believe that Jamilla Campbell’s 17-year-old son, Joshua, avoided the tragedy. They are currently searching for him, but they do not believe he had any involvement with this crime.
Now, both the mother and daughter have both been charged with five counts of homicide. They are also both being charged with one count of conspiracy.
