KGW8 reports that an Oregon man has been arrested for trying to buy a car with pot. After a car dealer in Albany listed a car for sale online last week, the man attempted to buy it with several pounds of marijuana.

Albany Police told the media that the dealer received a message from Matthew Theron Franks, 38, of Independence, asking to trade a large amount of pot for the car. The dealer then immediately called police.

An undercover investigator met with Franks to organize the deal. When Franks went to make the trade with the dealer, the Linn Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Taskforce was there to meet him. Police seized over 5 pounds of pot and arrested Franks for one charge of unlawful delivery of marijuana.
