D.C. police are searching for a suspect they believe intentionally set fire to the pizza shop that became infamous during the 2016 election.

Comet Ping Pong is a popular pizzeria in Northwest Washington, but the location has a much more dubious meaning according to online conspiracy theorists. Back in 2016, anonymous online users posting to both Reddit and 4chan began accusing the pizzeria of running an illegal child sex ring in the basement.

The theory alleges the pizzeria’s owner, James Alefantis, worked closely with Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton to traffic children for sex. The evidence, according to theorists, was all found in the leaked emails of John Podesta.

It appears the suspect, who is still on the run, intentionally left behind both a diaper and baby food as a nod to this Pizzagate conspiracy.

According to staff members, the man entered into the establishment and ordered three beers. After paying his tab, he reportedly set fire to a curtain and fled the area. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated the situation.

By the time firefighters had arrived, staff had thankfully already extinguished the flames. No one was injured in the ordeal.

Agents were able to take a still shot of the perpetrator from security footage, and they have released the image in hopes of getting a positive identification of the suspect from the public. He is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 30-years-old. He has blonde hair, a beard and a mustache.
